I'm adding the Marshall Mathers LP by Eminem. I still consider it one of rap's finest most impressive moments. 2. The Beatles - Revolver 6. Marvin Gaye - What's Going On 8. Any musicians?
Are there any musicians on this board who would like to discuss what they play? What styles? gear? really anything? For me, I am currently a music performance major at a small college right now. My primary instrument is guitar. There I mainly focus on playing jazz and classical, but I try to excel i...

Re: Top 100 albums survivor game
I think Kind of Blue is a record for jazz fans. I might be wrong about that, but for me it doesn't catch me as well as some of his other albums like Sketches of Spain and Workin'. But, I don't know the ins and outs of jazz, and I openly admit that I might not appreciate things that other people hea...

Yes, I'm doing the unthinkable and remove a jazz album. I'm a Kind of Blue man. It's my favourite to win this game. That's pretty bold about Kind of Blue. I think there's too many people on this board including myself who are casual jazz fans at best who will remove it. Seeing Kind of Blue removed ...

I'm thinking that during one day of the game (perhaps when we're down to around 25 albums) we would re-enter albums instead of remove them. And after that we would not be allowed to remove the same album twice (for example I would not be allowed to remove Layla again if it is re-entered). The crite...

Most Overated Albums of All Time
Alright guys, we love to discuss albums that critics and fans have given acclaim too...but have they ever gotten it a bit wrong? I think Smells Like Teen Spirit deserves the number 1 spot just for it's impact. Beyond that, just the opening rift automatically draws you in in a way alot of songs can't accomplish.
