Dirty Projector's Swing Lo Magellan 1. On first listen Swing Lo was really underwhelming. It got better the second time around and continues to slowly improve. Adaptations of Hairspray might have been well received, but I still believe that they lack the excitement and joy that the 1988 original brings to the screen.
