If it was ranking, id probably just rank the songs I've already heard, whereas with tournament, I'd probably try to make the effort to hear all. Ranking would be quicker, which is a plus.

I'm going to make a stronger statement: If Kendrick tops the EOY tally, the reason will be that these (basically indie world folk) lists randomly include Kendrick (and no other hip-hop).
