Re: Who Will Win the Pazz & Jop Awards for 2013

The Thicke song sucks. It will prolly place like 12th on Pazz and Jop for some reason, but other publications surely will dismiss it. I will be facepalming pretty hard if it makes the top 4000 songs. Edit: I mean I guess the site will have 8000 songs, but I mean I will keep my prediction about havin...

1. Sigur Ros - Really unique sound. I had an idea of just making sounds that fit to the music, and that's exactly what they're doing. 2. Jimmy Cliff - Almost as important to reggae as Bob Marley. Has done a long career of good music, but only the early stuff is recognized by critics, which is okay. ...

Maybe we could purposefully find more song lists, so that songs would get a boost, and for example Hank Williams would go higher in rankings and Captain Beefheart lower. Purely number-wise they're similar. I don't find it fair that albums are weighted so much more.

Tempest by Bob Dylan Even though it's not quite at the same level as Love and Theft and Modern Times, it's still a lot better than most of the stuff he has put out after Blood on the Tracks.
