Re: Best Moderately Acclaimed Album of 2015: Nominations

I got completely the opposite impression antonius. Seems like Jirin is saying that he believes it would be in the top 50 (because of it's great qualities) if it had been elligible for the charts but it isn't because of its format. I think it's a great EP too but to fall back on semantics here, this ...

Re: EOY 2015 - Treble (US)

As with the two lists above, the list below is ineligible as Treble always posts a complete list non-genre list at the end of the month. It's good to get it on record. This list has also been ranked by a single writer. So I'm not sure if this is meant to represent Treble's hip-hop list for the year,...

Re: EOY 2015 Predictions

This is interesting since Julia Holter is an American artist, but sort of makes sense in that UK outlets typically like more experimental stuff like Holter. I wonder if she can get some more #1 rankings from some of the left field publications like The Wire, which she won in 2013. Perhaps that will...

True - if music enthusiasts are still talking about the album in five/ten/twenty years time with great reverence then that's all that really matters. Saying that, there are a few specific songs that seem to be highly popular; '1000 Deaths', 'The Charade' and 'Sugah Daddy' are all top calls.
