This year was terrible, I will not mince words. Nonetheless, I do have enough picks I can in full confidence vote for. 9) Florence + The Machine-Dog Days are Over Well 2009 just got worse, because you voted for this one in our 2008 poll (along with 7 other folks). Will fix. I do have a backup.

Impressive. A bit expected but great to see OK Computer back on top! I think even more impressive is The Beatles in the Top 2. It would have been cool to see a Beatles sweep, no matter how unlikely it may be, but Abbey Road is a fine enough album to take second place. Well done and great poll as alw...

Glad to see LZIV and Dark Side hit the Top 20. Where they belong! If I had to guess, I say OK Computer wins and VU still in Top 5 but around #3. #2 goes to Purple Rain or Ziggy due to recent deaths. 4 of the Beatles' "Big Five" will be in the Top 10. Revolver the highest among them. Would ...

No Soundgarden? I know in this ceremony--unlike other award shows--a recent death does not increase chances per se. But considering how many people on the panel knew Chris personally, I am shocked Soundgarden wasn't nominated. Radiohead's a no-brainer, though. I won't take the Hall seriously if Radi...

Probably the biggest time where I disagreed with the critics. The problems lie not with Kubrick, but with most of the rest of the film. Kasabian got pushed back a week, presumably to avoid competition with Gorillaz.

A bit disappointed, but the lead single was enough to win me over. Should be a step up from 48:13 at least.

Gorillaz new album is pretty good. Reminiscent of the early work.
