This is a movie all about capturing atmosphere and building stress. Spielberg couldn't get the shark to work, but not showing it off helps preserve the surprise.

It is said no Best Film list is complete without Jaws. I can totally see why.

Probably the biggest time where I disagreed with the critics. The problems lie not with Kubrick, but with most of the rest of the film. So much of it is filler and a lot of it just isn't scary, aside from a few jump scares. And when they do come, most are exaggerated to the point of being laughable....

Kasabian got pushed back a week, presumably to avoid competition with Gorillaz.

A bit disappointed, but the lead single was enough to win me over. Should be a step up from 48:13 at least.

Gorillaz new album is pretty good. Reminiscent of the early work.

There are a lot of actors I respect and a lot of them I like in a lot of things, but very few who were consistently good in all the films I saw from them.

Oh so many.

I used to collect BIONICLE and Exo-Force comics. I read the big graphic novels like Watchmen.I have read ALL of Sandman. Every publication he was in.

As for manga, I know some attack on Titan and got about halfway through Tokyo Ghoul.

Really good list to date. A few surprises but no "complaints" quite yet. Again, the 43-41 range is a bit low. I was expecting at least Shawshank and Toy Story in the Top 20. But really glad animation is doing well. As someone who does appreciate animation as its own medium and not just kid...
