Dionne Warwick – A House Is Not a Home: 7

A good example of going all-out with your voice for drama, without overselling it. You feel the pain of love lost here. Not the most original song in the Warwick discography, but affecting.

Yes, but that area has moved to YouTube and other video sharing sites. It can still make a hit. Perhaps not as frequently, but acclaimed hits like This Is America sometimes still get recognition through video first.
