Re: Trax: 20 years, the 100 lost albums list (+300 classic albums) (2017)

I like it. Is there any actual album with that name? Probably, but none that is particularly notable except for a VA charity album for Greenpeace. Given that we're talking about a French publication, it's more likely that it was a subconscious reminiscence, as the Rainbow Warrior is a part of Frenc...

I didn’t know Radiohead had an album called Rainbow Warriors. Neither did I. I actually thought it was a typo in lagire's list, but when I checked in the book today, I saw the error was Trax's. I kept it for no particular reason, except that it made me smile. I like it. Is there any actual album wi...

Re: LA Weekly's Tops 20 & 10 albums

These are some interesting lists in multiple ways that's for sure. Given how the big list here on AM has been shaped a lot by US "East Coast" and UK critics, it's interesting to see what the critics from California believe to be great music. Unsurprisingly, it's generally more West Coast ...

I noticed at my supermarket that Trax published an actual book to celebrate their 20 years and reprinted the 300 classics segment of the list in it. However, I outright noticed a few new entries like Homework , OK Computer or American Dream . So I snatched it out the same way I did for the Philippe ...
