The new Freddie Gibbs album is excellent. This is the third straight year where he’s dropped a superlative album (first with Fetti in 2018 and Bandana in 2019)

There’s also a new Run The Jewels album coming out tonight. I’m excited for that.

Enjoyed the new Bad Bunny as expected. I'm also really loving the new Charli XCX album, which continues her blend of catchy exuberance with the avant-pop of artists like SOPHIE and 100 gecs. The at-home feel of the album is also a high point.

Three books from the 2010s I’d like to recommend - The Underground Railroad and The Nickel Boys, both by Colson Whitehead and Red Clocks by Leni Zumas. All three will be appearing high up on my list.

I’ve been re-listening to Apple’s entire discography since FTBC came out, and man I underrated her other work so much. I don’t think she has a single bad album in her discography now, and she’s become one of my overall favorite artists of all-time.
