Nobody I know who listens to Caroline understands the placement of this song, fascinatingly. Bunny is at best in the 60th percentile of Caroline/Chairlift songs. Right? I like me some Caroline, and I did listen to Bunny a few times this year. It's a fine song, but I never expected it to be in the t...

Thank you so, so much for this! I'll dive into all the tracks I don't know yet to round up my own personal list! Big props for Phoebe Bridgers being twice in the top 10. I'd think vote splitting would be much harsher to her than it is. I'm also very happy for Yves Tumor's placement in the top 10: ho...

I don't disagree with you on WAP, but I don't understand your take that it is differentiated from Bodak Yellow topping this list in 2017. There are a lot of songs I haven't heard on the bottom half of this list that seem interesting. As for the top part of the list, this is just the direction that ...

Ooh La La might be the worst song on RJT4. That hook is just so annoying. What a strange pick. Looking at these songs lists so far, it's as if Jessie Ware didn't release any music this year. I was hoping songs from What's Your Pleasure would be all over these lists. I had a little walk through Rate...

Also, a question: how should I handle Instrumentals by Adrianne Lenker? I've never seen it on its own in these lists, and whenever it is placed it's alongside Songs, so it lowers everything below it by one place. Should I combine them? From what I understand, instrumentals is a companion piece to s...

Is Canadian magazine Exclaim eligible? Their website's Alexa rank is 113,016, so well within the margin. The website includes a lot of reviews, and there is a printed version, though it is not exclusively about music as they talk about all things culture. Their lists aren't on their website yet, but...

Looks like it may be a list from an individual journalist on the BBC website, not the cumulative votes of the BBC Radio 6 Music DJs that is normally included. Exactly. The entire article is credited to Nick Levine, so I guess they are only his choices. He calls himself a "pop culture and LGTBQ...

Devotion in the top 20 is a pleasant surprise.
